About the project

Location:

Lewes

Project Outline:

Cycle Lewes was formed in 1998 and seeks, through the active involvement of its membership, to promote cycling and particularly to improve the availability of safe cycling routes in Lewes and the surrounding area.

Cycle Lewes & Lewes Living Streets are developing a new project aimed at reducing motorised traffic flowing through Lewes Town Centre. The project will take place during the first half of 2021, and will produce practical solutions to traffic congestion which can then be funded through Central Government grants.
