About the project

Location:

Seaford

Project Outline:

A group for the community of Seaford, to motivate and educate all on how we can combat the disposable plastics epidemic blighting our shores and world. Our Monthly beach cleans are a great success and have helped motivate our volunteers to make changes in respect of how they view single use items especially plastic.

Environmental Benefits

Plastic finds its way into our environment from every location on earth. Stopping our reliance on unnecessary single use plastic at source is the key to becoming Plastic Free.

How you can help

We would welcome support with printing, I.T. help in making short films document what we have achieved.

Who's involved

The project is part of a nationwide campaign run by Surfers Against Sewage (SAS). We are also part of growing community of campaigns in Eastbourne, Hastings, Uckfield, Brighton, Hove & Shoreham, Newhaven – all running under the SAS Plastic Free banner.
